Organic Worsted

This very special yarn is spun from soft, organic merino wool, then dyed with hand-harvested dyes that in most cases are vegan. The two non-vegan dyes are Indian Paintbrush and Orchid, which contain cochineal. Because this wool is gently spun and colored, it is retains some natural lanolin and is very soft. The soft dyes produce a very subtly striated coloring. Please note, colors can vary from skein to skein; consider swapping skeins every few rows to even out the color. This yarn can bleed slightly through the first few washings. Hand wash only.
