Organic Cotton

This is a truly Earth-Friendly yarn. It is created from cotton plants grown and picked without harmful pesticides and other chemicals. It is also farmed by the Naturetex cooperative in Peru, which was formed to return profits to the farmers instead of a large corporation. The natural colors range from cream to brown to two different greens. Because they are natural shades of the cotton -- not dyes -- the colors actually darken the more they are washed.
